The Pumpkin Patch & Halloween

Halloween is so much more fun as kids get older, isn't it? Suddenly, it's more about them having fun than you as the parent just doing it because you want to see them! We took the kids to our traditional "Pumpkin Patch." It was about 94 degrees, but they loved it anyway- anything is great when you get a giant gumball! The girls had some unique costumes. I think we had the only purple worm in Orange County, if not the whole state of California:
Alexa was Mickey Mouse, although everyone kept asking, "Is she Minnie? Or Mickey?" Apparently, a girl should be Minnie.
I wasn't going to dress him up, but thanks to our friend Patience, Brody was a cute little duck. This lasted about 10 minutes before he sweat to death.
